1. About VetBowl

VetBowl provides online veterinary nutrition consulting services operated by Dr Lachlan Chittock (BVSc, Cert Animal Nutrition). These terms govern the provision of consultation services via Zoom and the delivery of written nutrition plans.

2. Scope of Service

VetBowl consultations are not a substitute for veterinary care. Consultations aim to provide evidence-based nutrition advice to complement and support your pet's existing veterinary care. VetBowl does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or provide treatment for illness. If your pet requires veterinary treatment, you must consult your regular veterinarian.

3. Booking & Confirmation

Consultations are booked via Calendly. By booking, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. A confirmation email will be sent with the Zoom link and any pre-consultation information required. You are responsible for providing accurate pet health history and current diet information at the time of booking.

4. Pricing & Payment

Initial consultation: £110 (40 minutes)
Follow-up review: £50 (20 minutes)
Payment is processed via Calendly at the time of booking. Receipts are issued automatically. All prices are in GBP.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice forfeit payment. In the event of technical issues preventing the consultation from occurring (on VetBowl's side), a full refund or reschedule will be offered. Personal circumstances preventing your attendance do not qualify for a refund; please reschedule via Calendly.

6. Liability & Disclaimer

VetBowl provides nutrition advice based on current research and best practice. However, individual results may vary, and no outcome is guaranteed. Dr Chittock is not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from the implementation of nutrition plans, nor for any decisions made by you regarding your pet's care. You remain solely responsible for your pet's health and wellbeing. If your pet's health worsens or medical concerns arise, consult your veterinarian immediately.

7. Intellectual Property

The written nutrition plan provided is for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell the plan without written permission. Copyright remains with VetBowl.

8. Confidentiality

All information shared during consultations is confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except where required by law or with your explicit consent. Your pet's data is handled in accordance with VetBowl's privacy policy.

9. Technical Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection and a device capable of running Zoom. VetBowl is not liable for technical failures on your end that prevent or interrupt the consultation.

10. Modification of Terms

VetBowl reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of VetBowl services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with UK law.
